This Carver 500 Motor Yacht, is a very impressive vessel, filled with light and generous living spaces. An attractive, cost-effective option for permanent live aboard with the current berth in Hope Island Marina available for the buyer. Hope Island Marina is probably the best live aboard marina in the area and at $975 a month (all inclusive) represents excellent value for money. Life aboard would include two double cabins, each with lift up island berths (Gas struts) and lots of storage. The aft full beam master cabin has access to the rear covered cockpit as well as separate shower and head. A huge saloon incorporates a lounge (electric lift TV in cabinet), a PC work station, a dining area and a well equipped galley. Forward of this is the second double cabin with ensuite, lots of storage and the washing machine and dryer (nicely cabineted). The upper decks are accessed from both the rear cockpit and the saloon. Up from the salon is a glass enclosed cockpit (mezzanine level) with access to the lower aft cockpit and the side and front decks. This mezzanine area has a new lounge with under seat (4 of) storage, a new stereo system, a bread-maker and a wet bar above the bar fridge. Another couple of steps up to the command bridge which is also fully enclosed with glass and has lots of openings for fresh air. The command bridge (flybridge) is comprehensively equipped and has seating for 8 people. The master has good vision all round from the helm seat. This boat has lots of room and is “zoned” so that there is always a quiet place when required. This vessel is powered by twin Cummins 430 HP “Diamond Series” diesels, ZF gearboxes and other quality mechanicals including the Glendenning Engine Synchroniser and it is all easily accessed in a very tidy engine room. Note: this boat is dry in the bilges all the time!! So, no mess and smells.
